A Message From Owner John McClure:
Before I started Windows R Us, I worked in the window industry for many years. I learned a lot. I saw some things I liked… and some things I didn’t.
So when I founded my own company, I promised myself there were some things I would NEVER do:
- I would never charge prices out of the range of what ordinary homeowners could afford.
- I would not force my customers into buying more than they really wanted.
- That as owner, I would not become out-of-touch with my customers or inaccessible.
- Finally, I would never use low prices as an excuse to lower quality.
I’m proud to say that I’ve kept all those promises – I knew that I could create a company that could deliver better results for less money.
I’m also thrilled to report that homeowners have responded VERY positively. That’s why we’ve grown by leaps and bounds and also why we’ve won so many awards (check out our Reputation page).
Family-Run And ‘Old-Fashioned’ Service Values
I knew charging low prices for high-quality would be popular, and that Windows R Us would likely grow. But one thing I’ve made sure of even as we have grown: I stay accessible to my customers. ANY customer can call me to ask me a question, give me feedback or ask for help resolving anything.
Some would call that ‘old-fashioned’ – and that’s okay with me. I still believe that the owner should stand 100% behind the work.
Also, know that when I say ‘family-run,’ I really mean it. My wife and co-owner Linda is actively involved in the day-to-day business supervising our installation managers. My son Jeff – also a co-owner – is in charge of our marketing.
